Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This policy explains how Compliance Ready handles personal data collected through our website at complianceready.co.uk. It does not cover the Compliance Ready application at app.complianceready.co.uk, where the personal data our customers process is governed by our customer agreement and the relevant data processing terms.
1. Who we are
Compliance Ready is a service provided by Compliance Ready Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
Company registration number: [to be confirmed]
Registered office: [to be confirmed]
ICO registration number: [to be confirmed]
Contact: hello@complianceready.co.uk
2. The personal data we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our contact form, we collect your name, work email address, and — if you provide them — your job title, company name, and the contents of your message. If you book a demo, you provide your details through our scheduling provider (see section 6). If you email us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of access. This is used to operate and secure the site. We also store your cookie choices in your browser (see section 5).
3. How and why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiries and arrange demonstrations of the product.
- To operate, maintain, and secure our website and protect against misuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so that we can improve it.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Our lawful bases
Under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries, run our business, and keep our website secure) and, where relevant, your consent (for example, non-essential cookies). Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time — see section 9.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We keep cookie use to a minimum. We store a small record of your cookie choices in your browser so we can remember them — this is essential and cannot be switched off. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site; the analytics and marketing options in our cookie settings are reserved for future use and remain off unless you turn them on.
Our demo booking is provided through an embedded scheduling tool (see section 6), which may set its own cookies when you use it. You can review and change your choices at any time using the link in the footer.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website, and only as needed:
- Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website.
- Resend — sends us the contents of your contact-form submission by email so we can respond.
- Calendly — powers our demo-booking scheduler. When you book a demo, your details are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement (or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum) — to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and correspondence data only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again, after which it is deleted. Technical and security logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. We do not keep personal data longer than necessary.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another provider; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@complianceready.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
10. Keeping your data secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our measures regularly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Please check back periodically.
12. Contact us
